Directions to The Moosehead Motel

From Boston (approx. - 5 hours) and from Portland (3 1/2 hours):
Take I-95 north to the Newport, ME exit 157 (old exit 39). Follow the signs for Route 7/11 north to Dexter. In Dexter turn left at the Route 23 North sign (it will say to the Moosehead Lake Region) and proceed north to Guilford. Again, follow the signs for Route 6 & 15 North to Greenville. In Greenville take a left at the blinking light. Follow this road into Rockwood. Approximately 20-30 minutes from the blinking light. The motel is located on the left hand side of the road, on the hill. There are two entrances. Please note the first entrance is closed during our winter months.

From Bangor:
Take Route 15 Northwest and it will turn into Route 6 & 15. Continue North right into the center of Greenville. In  Greenville take a left at the blinking light. Follow this road into Rockwood. Approximately 20-30 minutes from the blinking light. The motel is located on the left hand side of the road, on the hill. There are two entrances. Please note the first entrance is closed during our winter months. 
Rockwood is approximately 2 hours from Bangor.

From Quebec:
Follow signs to Jackman Maine, in Jackman take a left onto route 6 & 15. The motel is located about approximately 40 minutes on the right hand side of the road. Please note the 2nd entrance is closed during our winter months. Rockwood is approximately 3 hours from Quebec.

From Bar Harbor:
Follow signs to Bangor Maine then proceed with the directions above. Rockwood is approximately 2 ½ to 3 hrs.
